Up late last night trying to post pictures-now same pictures are posted many times-can’t get rid of them. Brft at 7-leave at 8-Cindy waits. Shows us different way. Now on gravel, no bikers anywhere-ask lady w/dog for help. Finally get out of forest to nice path. Stop at gorgeous Catholic church-no pictures-mass in progress. Very grateful to God that I’m here. Cindy says she’s going faster today-IA (Armand today)-understands-I bike 6mph-need electric bike. Ha Ha. Lots of vinyards on both sides of path. See traffic for 1st time. IA stops for cherries-Cindy bikes up-buys some too. Later stop at lake-have picnic lunch-never go to lake in Austin. Pictures w/ Sparky &Wilson on 1890 fire engin, grapes, cows, statues. Stop at castle, pay 2 E to walk up 140 steep steps-get dizzy. Last stop by water looking at swans-can’t believe it- IA sees Cindy-go to hotel together. All meetings by chance. Another clean beautiful room-not the motel 6 or less that we usually stay in. Eat w/Cindy-never see Jean. IA is sleeping-never has problem.

Church bells rang every hr last night-heard them all. Made sandwich @ bkft again-left at 9. Gorgeous ride-lake, forest, flowers-more gravel bike paths than yesterday. Warm weather-in 80. Biked more w/Cindy. Lot of bikers & walkers-all ages out. Cindy stops for lunch before getting on boat-up bikes Jean to join her. All meetings are by chance. I follow UT to dirt path-couple mins-oh no. Have to stop-chain is stuck!! UT is gone. Can’ budge chain-take stuff off-turn bike upside down. Lots of people bike by-no one stops or says anything-maybe because have TEXAS shirt. UT must not have looked behind him to see I’m NOT THERE-been 20 min. Hands are black but fix chain. Sees me-where have you been? Show him my BLACK HANDS. Why didn’t you come back? Just didn’t see what could have happened. Get to boat-Jean & Cindy bike up-thought you would be long gone-long story. Glad to be on boat. Jean stays in town–we go to hotel-tough up hill. Have to push bike. Parkhotel St. Leonhard is worth it-can’t believe our room-have balcony looking out at lake. Take bus w/Cindy into town for dinner. Miss my sweet tea-need cokes again-miss desserts too. Miss Dominic & watching netflics w/Becky. UT hasn’t mentioned 1 word about GOLF. Frustrated w/blog but only way to remember.

It’s 10 pm & 1 is sound asleep. THE OTHER IS STILL TRAUMATIZED! Fell off bike twice & was lost for over an hr. STORY : bkft great-left at 9 w/Cindy-Jean gone. Took detour around island-lake, flowers every house, green houses main business. Cemetery-each plot w/planted flowers. Later C stops for lunch-I stop for picture- UT is GONE. Start biking-follow biking signs out of town-30 min-still lost. NO MAPS-I’m a follower & can’t read maps-NO MONEY-NO PHONE- DON’T KNOW NAME OF TOWN GOING TO. Sit in shade by bike path-hope to see Cindy. Decide to go back-maybe someone is trying to find me. MIRACLE-SEE UT SHIRT-I’M FOUND! Both say-Where were you??? He and Cindy-both went separate ways looking for me.  Asked  what our back up plan was-don’t have one-never lost her before. Start on different way-now on terrible, narrow, gravel path-don’t see streep incline-FALL OFF BIKE into bushes-lay there. Are you ok? NO-get up & bike away slowly. Now on good bike path-pass where I was waiting. Later UT sees big wood bear in front of house-stops to ask if I want picture. Stop-lean wrong way-fall off bike again , hit head on fence. NO- No picture. Tells me biking very slowly-better not to talk to me now. Can’t believe number of famlies on trail-all ages-different culture here. Get to Hotel Adler at 4:30-hear J & C voices. Exhausted-take shower-UT gets me a coke-eat morning sandwich-take nap. UT comes back-bought helmet for himself ( did not bring helmets)-but You didn’t fall. Also new watch & toothbrush. Take walk-see J & C-tell story-eat dinner. Hard to believe only 1st day of biking-train sounds great. Bkft at 9.

J & C knock on door 6:30-going to bkft. Wonderful-make sandwich for later. Take train up mt-ride back to museum. Leave motel at 1-ride train to Konstamz-1 1/2 hrs-fantastic motel across from station.  Bus to bike  pick up-all have girl bikes w/big seats. Glad I don’t have to lift leg to mount. A & K eat Italian-J & C each do own thing. No internet-Heavy rain, thunder at night. Good day.
