Saw castle from a distance-couldn’t believe route showed us biking there-had to walk the entire way up😡😢 went through castle to crowded little streets filled w/tourists-hotel & town next to castle-not seen from rd

5/30/19 (Thurs) FIGUEIRA DA FOZ to MARINHA GRANDE (MAR e SOl HOTEL ) 40 miles
Going to be short-today was so hot-all kinds of trails- longest day-9 to 3-did I say it was hot w/no shade. Got upset w/my leader😢😢-so far in front of me-not sure I was on right trail. Went up steep hill-there waiting for me-ok now. Hotel has most beautiful view of ocean. Leader is going to sleep☺
