Today was fantastic😊😊 Good breakfast w/Jean & Cindy. Then went to see donkey & goats. Long uphill to leave-ok-cool w/wind at back. Decide to NOT FOLL0W GRAVEL ROUTE😊😆 Stay on nice rd. Tour Lighthouse & fort. Can’t believe our fantastic hotel-room w/view of ocean from balcony. Has 2 pools. Watch some of French Open-go to eat-Cindy checking in-said gravel much worse than yesterday-go to eat-now Jean checking in. Glad we did-glad to be going home😊😊

Every day is different. In mt country-see no one on trails-landscape so different from yesterday-no flower fields or covered hot houses. Armand’s gps doesn’t work😢 Follow Jean out of town-later follow Cindy. Steep climbs-FALL off bike for 3rd time. 😣😣😣 2,200 ft of elevation on gravel & dirt 70% of time. Weather is not hot & wind at back most of time-long downhill to ALDELA DA PEDRALVA. Town of 18 residents only got electricity 10 yrs ago. Very nice room-2 floors-such nice people here-excellent meal. Tomorrow last day of biking.
