6/7 biking isn’t everything-we actually see more hikers than bikers

6/7 Animals-so unexpected to see a zebra after a steep climb in the middle of no where-then came all the green houses
So many fields of flowers & greenhouses
Spectacular views along the way
Getting better at mt biking-leader biked everything but sand-other had to walk up & down steep or heavy gravel hills
6/7 Take picture of windmill up on hill-never think Casa do Moinho would be past that. Road is steeper than anything we climbed today. Had to walk bikes-leader could not keep up w/hikers.
6/6 (Thurs) 57 k to VILA NOVA MILFONTES
Pictures tell story. Very difficult day W/Head winds all day. Not happy w/trails. Too old to ride on gravel & sand. Meal was excellent. Tomorrow is another day😀😀
Met Andy (OR) & son Eli Park (Utah) hiking about 15 m a day. Andy was planning to sell house, buy sail boat & sail around world w/wife
Never so glad to arrive at hotel & have wonderful meal w/Cindy again
Today was NOT FUN😢😢😢head winds-10-15mph ALL day, MILES OF GRAVEL, SAND, DIRT😤😤😤FELL GOING DOWN GRAVEL HILL😠😠😠Flags flying wrong way
