6/1 (Sat)Òbidos to Lisboa
Left at 10 in car-highways great-lots of high rise apartments & modern buildings-back through narrow streets of Lisbon to Turim Europa. Walk w/Jean & Cindy to Gulbenkian Museum-decide to go again-seniors 1/2 price 5 Eu. Enjoyed it-walk back-eat leftovers from night before. Relax-watch French Open.
6/1 (Sat) GULBENKIAN MUSEUM AGAIN-clock still telling perfect time (2) Turim Europa (3) portrait of Lady Elizabeth Conyngham 1824 (4) mother & babies in garden at museum (5) ivory
6/1 last picture at castle before we leave-must be so hot to sit there all day in silver paint
5/31 (Fri) FIGUEIRA TO ÒBIDOS 28m
Get ride to Nazare w/Jean & Cindy. CA couple-Joan & Dave bike entire way again-47 m. Hats off to them-very hilly-long uphills-hot-had to walk several times. Tried to shift gears-stuck-FELL OFF BIKE-laying in rd when leader came back to look for me. Get up & keep going. Amazing view of castle-route shows us going there-REALLY???😣😣😣 WALKING AGAIN. No charge at castle entrance. Keep walking bikes-now see lots of people-ask policeman-tells us hotel is close-just around corner. So glad to get in tub & bed. 11:30-4:30. Go to eat W/Cindy-very good meal-see Golin again. Tomorrow ride to Lisbon😊😊
