Amy, John, Patrick & Phillip eat brft before I get up-playing solitaire again until 1 am.  Pack sandwiches for little hike.  DISASTER @ Marymere FALLS. 10 sec into walk, I decide to WALK down little STEEP embarkment to lake.  Now RUNNING–can’t STOP😯😯until I crash to the ground with everyone watching in horror😯😯try to get up-BLOOD-more blood-CUT above eye.  Continue on hike.  Make it to waterFALL without falling again. John decides to hike Storm King trail to top of mt. Armand drives us back to house (rd very curvy)–John has key. Lucky neighbor has spare key. Armand goes back for John-house key is lost. Afternoon drive to Lake CRESCENT. Fun-problem w/hydrobikes. Phillip’s seat keep turning-enjoyed sitting in cold water. Back home, Amy cooks dinner, does wash & plans for tomorrow.

AUG 3/4 (SAT) Left Austin 6:30 pm-arrived in Seattle 12:30 am. Took taxi 8 m to Motel 6 (said meter was broken) got took for $30. Motel room smelled, heard footsteps above us until 3 am.
AUG 4 (SUN) Armand & John took taxi to car rental-no mini van-not sure when available. Come back to motel. We now take 2 cars back to rental-finally get a very nice more expensive car-Not a good start.
Stop at PURPLE HAZE-LAVENDER FARM for ice cream & pick flowers.
VACATION HAS STARTED-AMY has set agenda based off NATHON’S PERFECT VACATION PLANS that they had done earlier.
